Welcome
Eastpointe’s Cloverleaf Bar & Restaurant holds the most delicious slice in Detroit pizza history – they are the home of Detroit’s ORIGINAL deep-dish pizza.
Original founders of Buddy’s Rendezvous in Detroit, Gus Guerra and his wife Anna (Passalacqua) Guerra first introduced square deep-dish pizza to Detroit in 1946. Then in 1953 the Guerra’s purchased a little place called Cloverleaf Bar in the City of East Detroit, now known as Eastpointe. As the years passed Gus and Anna’s children – the late Frank Guerra, Jack Guerra and Marie Guerra Easterby – took over running the family restaurant and keep their parents’ legacy alive by serving their famous pizza from the authentic recipe and incorporating an expanded menu of Italian and American favorites.
Take a look at Cloverleaf’s Web site, including our menu, to see everything we have to offer before you visit. Whether you dine in, carry out, host a private party at the restaurant or cater your party, the Guerra family invites you and your family and friends to enjoy Cloverleaf Pizza…because everyone deserves the original square pizza!
